Largely: the ministerial order of 2 December 2025 classifies medicines specifically designed for hospitals, technical dressings, compresses and other medical devices as professional products, along with most transport and grouped packaging. Medicines sold in pharmacies, self-tests and consumer dressings remain household products. The professional packaging scheme starts on 1 January 2027.
