Yes: Regulation (EU) 2025/40 has covered all packaging, including medical device and IVD packaging, since 12 August 2026. Contact-sensitive packaging for the device is exempt from recyclability requirements and, if plastic, recycled plastic content thresholds. Grouped packaging boxes, transport packaging, the EU declaration of conformity, substance limits and minimisation remain subject to the general rules.
