They have no end date but are reviewed. By 12 February 2032, the Commission provides a report on retaining recycled content exemptions, and by 1 January 2035 at the latest it reviews recyclability exemptions, with a possible legislative proposal. The assessment planned for 1 January 2028 mainly serves to add recycled content derogations where no recycling technology is available.
