Only partly: a medicine's immediate packaging, such as a blister or bottle, is exempt from recyclability (Article 6) and recycled plastic content (Article 7). The outer cardboard carton is exempt from recyclability only if necessary to preserve the medicine's quality. The rules for grouped and transport packaging, the declaration of conformity, substance limits and minimisation apply without derogation.
