4 to 5 TWh in 2024 for dedicated sites according to RTE, or about 1% of the country's electricity, and 5 to 10 TWh once the in-house server rooms of companies and public administrations are counted. For 2030, RTE puts the figure at 10 or 15 TWh depending on the trajectory. These figures do not include data centres located abroad, which hosted 53% of French digital usage in 2022 according to ADEME.
