None of the sources we read guarantees that any particular occupation will not be replaced. The estimates place the least exposed occupations among those that rely on physical tasks: the French Treasury cites agriculture, construction and part of industry. About 3 in 4 jobs worldwide fall outside the 4 exposure categories of the International Labour Organization (our calculation). The French Treasury adds that an exposed job may see its tasks change without disappearing. These estimates were published between 2024 and 2026, and the French Treasury does not rule out a different scenario if more autonomous AI, or AI able to act in the physical world, becomes widespread.
