Often confused with CSR, ESG differs through its ‘investor’ focus: it provides ratings used by funds. Main agencies: MSCI, Sustainalytics, ISS and Vigeo Eiris. Do not confuse it with CSR (a broad managerial and strategic concept; ESG is more specifically an analytical framework for investors).
