How do energy savings certificates (CEE) work?

1111 questions from 157 articles available in English.

CEE require energy suppliers to fund energy savings for their clients, both companies and individuals, to meet state-set targets. In practice, a company receives a payment for eligible energy efficiency works, often identified by the inventory: insulation, LED lighting, heat pumps. CEE generally fund 30 to 60% of these works, with a short award timescale of 2 to 4 weeks. They can be combined with national and regional funding, and also fund ADEME's PACTE Industrie programme. The payment offer must be accepted before signing the quote.
