For a tourism SME with fewer than 500 employees, Bpifrance and ADEME’s Diag Décarbon'Action is the most accessible scheme: the €10,000 excluding VAT service is subsidised by €4,000, leaving €6,000 excluding VAT to pay for a full Bilan Carbone® (scopes 1, 2 and 3) and an action plan. France Tourisme Durable (Atout France’s platform) also offers a free starting point: a commitments charter, sector resources and networking. The Fonds Tourisme Durable, which funded accommodation and catering investments from 2021 to July 2024, is closed: for investments, contact your region and ADEME’s regional office.
