Association pour la Transition Bas Carbone, founded in 2011, publisher of the Bilan Carbone® method since 2011 (taking over ADEME’s work). Distributes the ‘Bilan Carbone®’ label and certifies trained consultants. Current method version: ABC v9 (2024), aligning Bilan Carbone® with the global GHG Protocol standard while maintaining rigour on scope 3. Do not confuse it with ADEME (public agency responsible for Base Carbone and the BEGES platform, but no longer publishing the method since its transfer to ABC in 2011) or with the Ministry’s Pôle ABC.
