Yes. European Batteries Regulation 2023/1542 requires CFP (kg CO₂e per kWh) calculated under the dedicated JRC methodology, and only this indicator. The JRC methodology is nevertheless demanding on permitted databases and allocation of impacts between co-products. A conventional ISO LCA carried out without knowing the JRC methodology is rarely usable as it stands: modelling often needs to be redone with JRC parameters.
