Yes, and that is the right order where possible. A production site LCA documents actual emission factors (electricity mix, heat, water) that then feed into the LCAs of products manufactured there. Without these site data, product LCAs use generic averages that systematically penalise them. The site investment pays off from the second or third product LCA.
