What is the difference between EcoBeautyScore and an LCA?

1111 questions from 157 articles available in English.

EcoBeautyScore is a consumer score (A to E) based on a sector-specific cosmetics PEF. It is a labelling tool. LCA is the underlying scientific method that produces the data. A brand needs the LCA to ecodesign and feed a possible score; it can then use EcoBeautyScore to communicate. Neither replaces the other.
