The bill falls through 3 options: co-funding the study (Bpifrance Diag Éco-conception leaves €5,400 to €7,200 excl. VAT payable), deliberately simplifying the study (single-criterion carbon, tight boundaries, accepted secondary data, €3,000 to €8,000 excl. VAT) or training an engineer in-house (€1,450 to €1,800 excl. VAT of training per person, worthwhile as soon as several LCAs are planned). Preparing supplier data beforehand also helps, as collection accounts for 60 to 80% of engagement time. Before signing, ask for the quote's person-day breakdown by phase.
