Participant transport (65 to 85%), catering (5 to 15%), accommodation (3 to 10% over several days), venue energy (2 to 8%) and physical production (3 to 10%). Transport alone concentrates most of the footprint, and this is where the largest reduction measures lie, through format and location choices and incentives for modal shift.
