The tariff is €4,000 in 2026 and €5,000 from 2027, but the law multiplies it by the renewal rate with high-emitting vehicles: the share of the fleet replaced during the year with vehicles that are not low-emission. For a fleet renewed every 4 years with 10% low-emission purchases, this amounts to €900 per missing vehicle in 2026 and €1,125 from 2027.
