Ecobalyse applies the method set by the order of 6 September 2025, taking PEF categories with French adaptations, and its public source code allows every calculation to be checked. Paid tools provide usability at scale (workflows, ERP integration, benchmarking, automated publication), rather than better calculation reliability. In other words: you do not pay for accuracy; you pay for scaling.
