The digital product passport will follow from the European ESPR Regulation, whose working plan provides for a delegated act on furniture in 2028 and mattresses in 2029. Given the application period, it would not apply before around 2030. It will use much of the data gathered for labelling: composition, origin, durability, repairability and recyclability.
