No. The textile environmental labelling decree relies on Ecobalyse, a simplified LCA method rather than a complete ISO 14040 LCA. An ISO LCA remains useful in two cases: meeting customers' requirements for technical textiles, and supporting product data in CSRD reporting, which does not require an LCA. No textile DPP is in force to date. In these cases, a consultancy equipped with Simapro or GaBi does the work.
