The training

Life cycle assessment training designed by Celsius for IFC.D and delivered by the consultants who wrote it. You learn the method through practice: a running case study, modelled in OpenLCA using ecoinvent data, then interpreted and presented as it would be to a client.

Carry out the study from start to finish

  • Model a running case study in full.
  • Carry out and interpret the multi-criteria analysis.
  • Compare scenarios.
  • Apply the results to eco-design.

The questions we are most often asked before registration.

No. The programme has no methodological prerequisites. Online preparation introduces the concepts needed for the exercises.
How to build an LCA using a training case, model it in OpenLCA, interpret its results and prepare a presentation. Independence on a complex study develops subsequently through practice.
Yes. IFC.D offers a virtual-classroom version alongside the in-person version. Both formats combine 4 to 5 h of online preparation and 14 h with a trainer.
