But several schemes rely on an LCA or a derived method, some mandatory for placing products on the European market, others voluntary: textile environmental labelling (Ecobalyse environmental cost, derived from PEF), Batteries Regulation (CFP), DPP (depending on the delegated act), CSRD product scope 3. By 2030, almost all manufactured products sold in Europe will carry an impact declaration based on a life cycle methodology.
