Certification structures your approach, but does not make a prohibited claim lawful. For a product, EmpCo's blacklist applies even with certification. For the company, an unqualified "neutral" statement remains a vulnerable generic claim. Instead, communicate what certification attests to: your measurements, reductions and contributions, following the evidence requirements applying to every claim.
