Product Environmental Footprint, harmonised European LCA methodology, current version EF 3.1. 16 normalised and weighted environmental impact indicators (climate change, water, eutrophication, acidification, resources, toxicity, etc.). EU Recommendation 2013/179, updated in 2021. Provides a methodological framework for French environmental labelling (Ecobalyse), sector PEFCRs (>15 published frameworks: batteries, wines, milk, textiles, paints, etc.) and new-generation EPDs. Do not confuse it with OEF (Organisation Environmental Footprint, organisation version) or with Bilan Carbone® (single CO2e criterion).
